We stayed at Zoni lower for a week and were happy we did. The house was clean and modern. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, though we tried several of the restaurants in Dewey. It's less than a mile to Zoni beach, which is where we spent a lot of our time. Booking was easy and the prices were fair. We rented their SUV while we were there, which was great because the on-site manager had it ready at the airport when we arrived. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would gladly rent this house again. Looking forward to going back to Culebra.

After hitting the overpriced tourist trap resorts in Hawaii, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel and elsewhere, we decided to unwind in an off-the-beaten-path island getaway. And this is exactly what we hoped for- only better. A sleepy little island with a windy road along the water and through the selva to a hill-top property with ocean views and the peaceful breezes. The owners provided a perfect rental car to get around and everything is close. The beach is 5 minutes away and is the nicest, most secluded strip of pristine sand and turquoise water you're likely to find in the northern hemisphere. We went diving here today too (yes I'm writing this while we're still here..the wi-fi is seamless) saw turtles, lobsters, sting-rays, and beautiful reefs. Hitting the beach again tomorrow (beach day)--the owners provided boogie boards, beach chairs, a cooler- everything we need! We've taken multiple naps too-ridiculous right? The place is completely comfortable. The unit had brand new beds, appliances, furniture and fixtures- it is clean and everything works!! There's wi-fi, and Dish network (more channels than we have at home!) there's fans and AC units in every room- comfortable and contemporary. Plus they got a little library going with books and videos. And best of all, the PEOPLE HERE on Culebra are awesome. Very laid back and happy to help. We'll be back- maybe rent the upstairs and the house too and have a family get together. Like my wife says "just what the doctor ordered!"

My husband and I just got back from a week on Culebra and we stayed here. It was PERFECT. We actually got married while we were there. The house was so refreshing and clean when we arrived. There are air conditioning units in every room, but we did not use them once because the overhead fans work great and the breezes off the water are sublime. The house has everything you need - we cooked almost every night we were there. Everything in the house in brand new and works great. We felt right at home. It is super romantic. The views are incredible, the whole front of the house is basically all glass and there are sweeping views of the ocean and surrounding hills. We went to Zoni beach every day which is super close to the house, you could definitely walk if you wanted to. It was our favorite beach on the island because it was so private, we were the only ones there most of the time. We also rented one of Tom's cars - we were SO glad to have it! It was clean and worked so well for getting around the island. Tom's prices are incredibly reasonable. We felt really lucky to have found this place! Also, Rogelio, the property manager is incredibly helpful. He was really great and about picking us up from the ferry and showing us around (to the grocery store, etc). We will definitely be coming back to Culebra and will hopefully rent Tom's house again! Thank you thank you for making our stay incredible!

This new house has plenty of space for a family, all new amenities, short drive to the beach, beautiful and cool location with refreshing breeze. Perfect for quiet, private retreat.

This is the ideal location for people wanting to get away from it all for some peace and quiet. This is a split level property with two bedrooms/one bathroom on each level. We stayed in the lower level and enjoyed the comfortable and clean space with pleasant views of the ocean and hills surrounding the property through the sliding glass doors that make up one wall of living/dinning/kitchen area. The location is on the far side of the island away from town and close to Zoni (or Soni) Beach, a popular breeding beach for sea turtles. If you are looking for town life, it's a short drive away; if you're looking for quiet beauty, you are there. The location comes with a porch cat, lawn mowing horses, and Nacho, the Dalmation that welcomes all comers to the property. There are also birds, iguanas and multiple other animals along the roadside. Each area has an AC unit, but often they are not needed, as there are multiple ceiling fans throughout the rooms which work very well. This was our stay on Tom's properties and we plan to return again soon!
